Two nights in Randwick, at High Cross I stayed,
A calm little escape from the buzz Sydney made.
The location was perfect, not too far, not too near,
Close enough to the city, yet peaceful and clear.
Leafy streets in the morning, a lovely retreat,
Everywhere that I needed was down the street.
What struck me the most, I will gladly confess,
Was how spotless it was, every inch, nothing less.
Clean linens, clean floors, not a thing out of place,
That kind of care always puts you at ease.
My best memory: settling in after dark,
Fresh, central, and welcoming, right from the start.
Sydney Lodges nailed comfort in every small way,
Randwick's High Cross is where I'd happily stay. |
